A lifelong passion for the urban environment and design naturally led me to real estate. After university, I delved into the dynamic environment of a major corporate consultancy. By 2013, I had qualified as a Chartered Surveyor, specialising in residential and commercial valuations. While I valued the analytical aspects, I discovered that my true enthusiasm lay in the dynamic world of transactions. Transitioning to a boutique commercial investment agency, I excelled in managing high-profile deals across London’s West End and City markets, while building a robust network of clients and industry experts.

When an enticing client-focused role at a large consultancy presented itself, I took the opportunity. However, I missed the entrepreneurial spirit of working within a boutique setting. This experience highlighted a unique opportunity that a larger environment couldn’t fully support. As a result, Carter Chatila was founded—a venture driven by both passion and necessity, committed to delivering a bespoke, agile service that effectively meets the unique needs of our clients.

My diverse upbringing across Lebanon, the USA, and Europe, coupled with my fluency in five languages, has given me a unique perspective on life. Originally embarking on studies in medicine before shifting to finance, I later found my true calling in real estate in 2017. Despite my initial career in banking, it was the appreciation of art and architecture, along with building genuine relationships with clients, that drew me to this field. For me, real estate transcends mere transactions—it embodies dreams of family, investment, and security. Influenced by my family’s philosophy of investing in tangible assets like stones, gold, and bricks, I view real estate as a means of securing future generations and achieving capital appreciation.

The foundation of Carter Chatila emerged from a desire to blend rationality with emotion, creating a space where these elements coexist harmoniously. Through Carter Chatila, we aim to deliver a bespoke and agile service, deeply rooted in my passion for real estate and a commitment to building lasting, meaningful connections with clients.

As an outdoor and automotive enthusiast with a global perspective, I’ve had the privilege of living in Lebanon, the USA, and Europe, where I’ve embraced many different cultures. My greatest asset is a relentless drive to compete and continuously improve.

My real estate journey began in the US, working with a private equity entrepreneur. In this role, I collaborated with investors and private equity groups, forging strategic partnerships that resulted in the acquisition of numerous investment and development projects.

London was never part of the plan, but life has a way of surprising us. During a family visit, I connected with a Middle Eastern family office seeking a joint venture with a US-based firm. This meeting led to a successful collaboration and ultimately my relocation to the UK. In this capacity, I helped raise over £100 million for various real estate projects in the UK and internationally.

In 2023, I joined Carter Chatila in a business development role, where I leverage my extensive client base to provide real estate advisory services and fundraising expertise.
